Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and PassGram. They describe what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, how paid plans work and what happens if something goes wrong. Please read them carefully; by creating an account or using PassGram you agree to them.

1. Agreement and acceptance

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PassGram applications, the web app at web.zpas.org, the website at passgram.web.app, the developer API and any related services (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you confirm that you have read these Terms, that you accept them, and that you accept our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service for an organisation, you are agreeing on its behalf and you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

2. One set of rules for everyone

The same Terms apply to every user in every country. We do not offer secret terms, special exceptions for particular people, or different treatment based on who you are. Where local law gives you rights that these Terms cannot remove, those rights remain yours.

3. Who can use PassGram

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent, whichever is higher.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract with us and must not be barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
  • If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you and remains responsible for your use of the Service.

4. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account. That includes keeping your credentials, devices and recovery key safe, and ending sessions you no longer recognise. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it up to date, and to tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not share your account, sell it, or let another person use it. We will never ask for your master password, recovery key, one-time codes or session tokens. Anyone who asks for them is trying to deceive you.

4.1 Signing in on new devices

When a sign-in is attempted from a new device, we send a notice to your signed-in app. If a one-time code is required it is delivered to the app rather than by SMS. Codes expire quickly and work only once. QR sign-in requests last ten minutes and can be approved by a single device. You agree not to approve a request that you did not start yourself.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and with respect for others. You must not:

  • break any law or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
  • harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate or exploit other people, or send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
  • upload or share content that sexually exploits children, promotes terrorism or violent extremism, or facilitates serious harm;
  • probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our written permission, except under our responsible disclosure rules on the Security page;
  • attempt to bypass rate limits, access another person’s account, or interfere with the Service, our systems or other users;
  • use bots, scrapers or automated tools other than through the official developer API and within its limits;
  • reverse engineer the apps except where the law expressly permits it;
  • use the Service to build a competing product by copying our interface, branding or non-public materials.

6. Your content

You own the content that you create and store with PassGram. You give us only the limited permission needed to host, back up, sync and transmit it so that the Service works for you, and for no other purpose. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to routine backup cycles.

You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to it. Encrypted content cannot be read by us; this means that we are not able to review it, and also that we cannot recover it for you if you lose your keys.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the software, design, text, graphics, logos and the names PassGram and Z Pass, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the apps for their intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our property to you.

If you send us feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, but we will never publish your name or private content without your permission.

8. Plans, payments and renewals

PassGram offers a free plan and paid plans, currently called Plus and Pro. Features and limits for each plan are described in the app and on the website at the time you subscribe.

  • Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Renewal. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will tell you about price changes in advance.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Your paid features continue until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Refunds. Unless local law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable once the period has started, but we will consider fair requests, for example for accidental duplicate charges.
  • Taxes. Prices may be shown before applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.

9. Family and shared plans

If you are the manager of a family or shared plan, you are responsible for the people you invite and for keeping the plan details accurate. Each member keeps a private space that other members and the manager cannot read. Removing a member ends their access to the shared plan benefits, not their ownership of their own content.

10. Developer API and bots

The developer API is provided to let you build integrations. You must follow the documentation and rate limits, keep your API tokens and bot tokens secret, and never put them in a public website or repository. You are responsible for everything your integration does, including messages it sends and data it stores. We may limit or revoke API access that threatens the stability or safety of the Service.

11. Third-party services

The Service may link to or work with third-party products, such as app stores, payment processors and identity providers. Those services have their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. Your use of them is at your own discretion.

12. Availability, changes and beta features

We work hard to keep PassGram available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, add or remove features, and we may offer preview or beta features that are provided as they are and may change or end without notice. When a change materially reduces something you have paid for, we will give reasonable notice and a fair remedy.

13. Suspension and termination

You can stop using PassGram and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if your account is used in a way that threatens other people or the Service, or if we are required to by law. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will tell you the reason and give you the chance to export your content before the account is closed.

14. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not make any warranty that it will meet every need, be uninterrupted, or be free of errors, and we disclaim all implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PassGram and the people who run it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that the law says cannot be excluded.

16. Your responsibility

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your breach of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place where the operator of the Service is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so that we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing here prevents you from using the courts or consumer-protection authorities in the country where you live where the law gives you that right.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will tell you in advance through the app or another prominent method. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to them, you can close your account.

19. General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability: if a part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
  • No waiver: if we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not given it up.
  • Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a business change with notice to you.

20. Contact

You can reach us through Settings → Support inside the app, or on X at @4rezan. Never send passwords, recovery keys, card numbers, one-time codes or session tokens to anyone, including us.

This page is a general agreement for transparency and is not legal advice. The operator should have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer for the jurisdictions in which it operates.
